As Executive Vice President at the Center for Policing Equity responsible for overseeing an integrated External Affairs portfolio, uniting communications, marketing, and development, and serving as the chief architect of CPE’s public narrative, fundraising strategy and brand visibility.

Developed national branding, marketing and communications strategic plans which elevated and amplified brand stories and thought-leadership of CIS. Led develoment of the most successful national brand campaign in CIS' history.

As Chief Development & Marketing Officer for the National Society of Black Engineers led and directed strategic planning, management and fundraising initiatives, raising over $20 million annually from corporate, foundation and individual donors. Worked collaboratively across all functional areas as an executive leadership team member. Presided over the largest expansion of national partnerships and revenue is NSBE's history.

Developed strategic marketing plans, including formulating marketing investments and operating budgets to achieve revenue goals and member growth. Led the first brand refresh in the history of this ~50-year-old brand. Provided strategic direction, prioritization, and oversight of marketing and communications professionals responsible for content creation, complete digital footprint (web, social media, campaigns), and physical presence at events and conferences.

As Area Development Director managed and grew portfolios of donors and prospects with giving capacity in the five- to eight-figure range in three high-profile markets (NYC, NJ, DC.) Developed and managed multi-faceted annual campaigns targeting corporate, foundation, faith, workplace and individual donors. Developed professional fundraising officers to cultivate, solicit and steward donors, resulting in top-performing offices nationally. Recruited skilled volunteers to identify new income opportunities and promote organizational priorities. Worked closely with President/CEO to identify and close multiple seven-figure gifts.
